Tess of the D’Urbervilles Tess o D’Urbervilles is the story of an unfortunate young beautiful girl whose father was an intoxicant man and has no care for the house and his four children in the result of which Tess has to come out of the house and work to Tandridge to Claim kin with the rich D’Urbervilles where she was raped by Alec the son of Mrs.D’Urbervilles a blind women.Thus Tess’s viginity was lost. After few weeks of wandering here and there Tess returns home and later gives birth to a boy who dies of illness and was refused to a Christian by the Vicar.Again she leaves home and began to work as milkmaid at Talbothays where she meets AngelClare the son of the Vicar of Emminster.They both fall in love with each other and decided to marry.A few days before marriage she reports her past troubles in a letter and slips to Angel’s room but unfortunately the letter remains concealed under the carpet and they get married.On the very first night Angel confesses the story of his forty eight hours dissipation with a stranger in London and asks her to forgive him.Tess also tells her past to him now which greatly shocked Angle.Afterfew days they were separated.Tess returns home and Angel to Emminster.Being unwelcomed by her parents at home she again leaves home and wandered severely to survive.Then she secured a job to Flint comb-ash farm.She goes to meet angles’s parents but they don’t sympathize her and on her back she got to meet Alec who has become a preacher now.Maddened by his passion for Tess se pays several visits to Ash farm and forces her to live with him. She writes to Angel a letter which revives love in his heart and decide to return to other England.In the meantime Tess receives a letter that her family is having an evil days.She returns to her family and could’nt meet angel.Her father died and circumstances got so worst that they have to vacant the house.Angel goes to Ash farm and knows that Tess has left for Marlott her hometown.On the hand Tess accepts Alec failing to rescue her family from financial problems and goes to Sandborne. Angel reaches Sandborne where Tess was completely transformed as a lady of fashion.Tess was shocked to see Angel and accuses Alec of deceiving her by telling her that Angel will never come back and to live with him to help her family.She murders Alec and runs after Angel breathelessly.After five days she was arrested in the the case of murder and was sentenced to death.In the month of july one morning the unfortunate tragic lady was hanged,and Angel married her younger sister Liza lu keeping his promise to Tess.
